Saxon’s grandfather (aka “Gran”), Bailey Moseley, is going to be a Justice on Texas’ 6th Court of Appeals. After nearly a year of campaigning, voters in 19 northeast Texas counties gave Gran a landslide victory - more than 58% of the vote to defeat his opponent by more than 26,000 votes.
“The biggest thing is just the tremendous amount of support I’ve gotten,” Bailey Moseley told the Marshall News Messenger Tuesday night as he watched results come in with friends, family & supporters at his Marshall law office. “It’s been kind of humbling, particularly when you’re up against a quality opponent.”
We are all excited for Gran. After being officially sworn in as a Justice, he will start his first new job in 36 years!
