It’s getting warmer, spring flowers are starting to bloom and there’s all this buzz about brackets. It can only mean one thing: March Madness at MoseleyWorld!

We’re particulary excited because this year, both schools from the MoseleyWorld fandom are included in the tourney. The Kansas State Wildcats are no stranger to the NCAA Tournament (22 prior tournament bids), but are returning for the first time since 1996. K-State deserves higher than an 11 seed but their loss to A&M [yes, Texas A&M cheated to win the game] in the Big 12 tournament probably cost them. Tune in to see freshman Michael Beasley, the nation’s best player and certain #1 pick in the NBA draft.
Some of you may remember the days Baylor was a basketball powerhouse, Final Fours 2 out of 3 years, including one nat’l championship game. The only problem? Better have a good memory. Kentucky. Rupp. 1948. Baylor’s last NCAA tournament appearance was when (a) Reagan was president (b) gas was $1.08/gal and (c) I was a student at Baylor.
But I’m excited. Fans of Baylor mens’ hoops haven’t had a whole lot anything to be excited about lately. Start typing Baylor Basketball and Google suggests “Baylor Basketball Murder.” Dream with me a moment…imagine Jim Nantz narrating a dreamy story about how far those Bears have come…”from the depths of tragedy…to the Sweet 16.” Ok, I said dream.
